Twentieth April 1999, marked a very black day at Columbines- 2 of their own felling a dozen innocent lives and one dedicated teacher. The town still unable to come to grips and unable to erase horrific scenes from their mind, even though ten years have passed-it is certainly extremely painful to watch children nipped in the bud- held a candle-lit vigil at the Littleton Park, laying flowers along the memorial built for the departed beloved ones. The school will remain closed on Monday and a memorial service will take place later in the day. The Columbine massacre as it is referred to today, has restarted the debate on gun-ownership laws in the US.
